Las vistas del lodge situado en primera linea de playa son impresionantes. Los dueños se desviven para que los clientes esten a gusto. Un sitio muy acogecor por un precio mas que razonable.

Very affordable for an otherwise pricy tourist destination. The service was excellent and my sister and I were very well taken care of. Dona Soraya was extremely helpful and she made our short stay easy and fun. The food was absolutely delicious!

Our family of 4 had a very relaxing 1 and 1/2 week vacation at Dona Soraya Lodge during the June/July 2016 South Africa winter holiday time.

Hosts Peter and Soraya made us feel so welcome. On arrival we were already blessed with an upgrade from Reed House to a Family Suite.

We spent most of our time just relaxing at the beach (just 49 steps away). And most days we had the beach to ourselves.

We did not have transport during our time there. Soraya was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. She also took us into town a few times and helped us with organising activities such as snorkeling.

We had breakfast and dinner every day. Sorayas’ food was delicious and usually enough for us to have dinner leftovers for lunch the next day.

Both Soraya and Peter have so many interesting stories to tell, so we usually felt as if we were staying over at friends. They were both very kind towards our children.

One point to note is that the family suites are not sound proof so one can hear one’s neighbours clearly. Our family sleeps easily and slept well here as well, but noise may bother you if you are a light sleeper and then a 5 star rating may not be justified.

Overall this was a great value for money destination with a personal touch from the hosts. Thanks Peter and Soraya!

Staying at Dona Soraya was pleasant. We felt like home around Soraya and her husband Peter. She cooked delicious home made food to us every night, accompanied with one of her many incredible, funny and sometimes jaw-dropping life stories. The view is gorgeous and if you are keen on going to the beach 3-4 of her dogs will follow you down and look out for your stuff. The neighbourhood is very quiet, which me and my boyfriend enjoyed. The rooms are not the cleanest, but for us it gave us a feeling of living like a local. Are you interested in a luxurious vacation this might not be the place to stay. But for us it was perfect. Quiet, good conversions with the owners, beautiful view and lovely home made dinner every night.

We had a wonderful stay at Dona Soraya! Soraya and Pieter were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view from the lodge was absolutely stunning! The food was also one of the highlights of our stay so make sure to stay for dinner! Thank you very much for a enjoyable stay. Sasha and Will come again.
